Participants in ALI’s Automotive Lift Certification Program that demonstrate a strong commitment to furthering lift safety within the industry typically choose to become active Members in the Association. In support of ALI’s mission of promoting the safe design, construction, installation and use of automotive lift products, Association Member Companies are required to demonstrate that the majority of automotive lift units sold (presently set by the ALI Board of Directors at 75%) be certified models. ALI Membership investments are utilized in part to support industry safety initiatives such as the new Lift Safety DVD, national standards development activities, and the development of emerging industry requirements such as French and Neutral Spanish warning label kits. Additionally, ALI Member Companies proudly provide a copy of ALI’s “Lifting It Right” Safety Manual, Vehicle Lifting Points Guide, ANSI/ALI ALOIM (current edition), Safety Tips Card and Warning Label Kits with each automotive lift distributed.

Participation in ALI’s Automotive Lift Certification Program does not require Membership in the Association.
