Consumers Warned of Fraudulent Website Misrepresenting Automotive Lift Institute

CORTLAND, NY – (February 25, 2026) Automotive Lift Institute (ALI), North America’s trusted provider of automotive lift certification services and an accredited standards development organization, is alerting consumers, distributors, and retailers to a fraudulent website operating under the name autoliftsupplyusa.com. Auto Lift Supply USA, through its website lists 3699 Luker Road, Cortland, NY 13045 as its business address. That address is publicly identified as the official headquarters of the Automotive Lift Institute (ALI).

As of the date of this Buyer Beware notice, Auto Lift Supply USA is not affiliated with, authorized by, or operating from ALI’s headquarters. Listing ALI’s official address as its own business location creates a false impression of association, endorsement, or legitimacy. Consumers and businesses engaging with this website should exercise extreme caution, as there is a significant likelihood that it represents an active scam.

 

Additionally:

• At least two manufacturers whose products are depicted on the website have confirmed that the listings are unauthorized and that the products are not available for purchase at the prices shown.
• The website includes a statement claiming that “ALI Crifted is a part of our team.” ALI does not recognize or understand this claim and has no association with such a representation.
• Multiple calls placed to the New York City-based phone number listed on the website resulted in confirmation of the false address being used immediately prior to the scammer terminating the call.

ALI remains committed to promoting the safe design, construction, installation, inspection, and use of automotive lift products throughout North America and urges consumers to verify the legitimacy of sellers before making purchases.
